Bare stainless will be engraved to jet black color and can never wear off.
Colored tumblers are engraved by removing the powder coating and will reveal the stainless underneath.
These tumblers are made in China by Sangyn and are just as good as the leading brand (which are also made in China) at keeping drinks hot and cold - please see the video of my 2 hour experiment to see this.
Engraving is performed at our studio in McMurray Pennsylvania.

These tumblers have a slide enclosure and are truly watertight - so much so that you need to open it in order to put the lid on!
